This photo is just the beginning of the reunion photos release. Will create a new blog, for everyone to post their own pictures. The username and password will be sent via email.
Thanks everyone for the great 2 days.
This blog has been created by KMC, Chennai 1984 batch students. The first batch reunion was on August 8th, 2009. Following the reunion this blog is being maintained till we meet again in 2012.

Ravi

Thanks to everyone for the wonderful reunion which will stay in our memory forever. Hearty congrats to the organising team. All of us should continue to keep in touch. Really sad for all those who could not make it, but hope to see everybody together soon.
ReplyDeleteJayalakshmi
for those who are familiar with this song..
ReplyDeleteI'm sad to say
I'm on my way
wont be back,
for many a day
My heart is down
my head is turning around
I had to leave all my friends
in Em Gee Emm...
thank you all for the cherishable memories and treasurable moments
As Mohan so aptly said, we all took a collective step back in time- and relived our glorious youth-unfettered, bound only by the bonds of friendship that we had forged.
There are so many words still left unsaid, so many thoughts still unshared , but hope remains, that we will see each other again.
Now that we have grown older and wiser, we find so much more pleasure in each others company, years of separation only made it sweeter.
For many of us, this has been an emotional journey, one that will never end as along as we stay in touch. No one can make that happen, but US.
I sign off with tons of love
Ramzan
Dont worry Ravi! You have me too!
ReplyDeleteWe were sailing on the same boat!

ReplyDeleteThat was a tear jerker ! big time. Most of us feel the same way.
Can I thank everyone who oganised this. It was a fantastic 2 days.
I was truly amazed at how diplomatic people were !
It was as if we had met just a few days after our last GR day.
The final dance was a phenomenon in it's own right. The 'moves' were all there despite the artificial hips - only joking.
Truly, a Batch-Meet, that will always be etched in our memories! Seemed like, no sooner than it began, it ended.
ReplyDeleteThank u friends, who took the time and effort to come with family and also distant places! Those who could not,see you all in the next Meet.
Rachula
Hi folks,
ReplyDeleteJust got back to Houston. What can I say, I'm totally lost for words to express my feelings here, so I'm just going to reflect off of Ramzan's words!20 years of separation has not only made us older & wiser, but more mature , self confident and friendlier than ever before. But the spirit to have fun remained just the same & in that way all of us felt 20 years younger! It seemed like 2 days was not enough to socialise with everyone in the crowd.
I know that Prabhakar has repeatedly refused to take any credit for masterminding this huge event in just 6 months'time, anyway, Thank you Prabhakar & your lieutenants Viswanathan, Priscilla, Murali & Vasanthi from the bottom of my heart. Thank you Senthil Vel for those wonderful caps, just looking at those would bring back the fond memories of our ReminesCE '89, for years to come.
For those of you who were not there, there's always the next one & of course all the pictures that we are going to be uploading on the blogspot.
Please keep the blogspot alive with your musings!!!
Signing off with love,
Kalyani

It was sweet, but short experience in Chennai. So much to catch up, yet so little time.
ReplyDeleteHere is a song from Jim Morrison (Doors):
I love you the best
Better than all the rest.
That I meet in the summer.
Indian summer.
I love you the best
Better than all the rest.
Let us hope it is just not another Indian Summer.
Cheers,
Natesh
