I think all of us remember the the hot august night when we had our reunion last year. Now after a year we were able to install an A/C unit at the surgical oncology unit at Govt Royapettah Hospital. This money came from the surplus remaining from the reunion . Over time its going to help hundreds of poor patients providing comfort after major surgery . More importantly will give great relief from the noise of the giant fan in the post op ward.

ReplyDeleteJust seems like yesterday but it's actually been a year since our batch reunion...wow...time really flies! I am impressed to see that we have succeeded in totally completing a project in one year. Thank you Vasanthy, Viswanathan, Prabhakar and every one else who played a role in making it happen.
We have located a few more of our batchmates since our reunion, thanks to Priscilla's persistent efforts and super detective skills! Let's all stay in touch and make our next reunion even more memorable than the last one!

Thanks everyone for your comments. I am also distressed to see people in Pakistan suffer due to flooding. If anyone knows of aid groups working there would like to see what their needs are.
