Few weeks ago Murali, Vasanthi and myself (Prabhakar Devavaram) met at Radha Inn to discuss reunion plans. Murali suggested the 1400 hrs time for lunch and was in a good mood when he arrived. Soon we found out that his happiness could be explained by the fact that he had a timely lunch before meeting us. Anyway it was good to have this meeting.
These are the issues we discussed.
1) Creating a website
So we have created this blog and can be accessed by typing http://www.kmc1984reunion.blogspot.com
In future all announcements will be via this blog , so please bookmark this website. I will send group emails and Viswanathan will be sending group SMS to cellphone users about new entries. This is an open blog so you can post comments very easily and create a discussion board.
Please let me know if you have any problems.
2) Booking venue- this should happen shortly. Murali is working on this. After this will work out costs.
3) Contact our batch mates. We were unable to contact about 40 friends and have sent letters to their addresses given in the address book. So as we plan, we will continue to contact all our friends. Will release the names in my next posting.
4) As mentioned before the main meet is on August 8th, 2009 in the evening.
Also Priscilla is working on a photo project which will be released during the August meeting , so kindly help us in this initiative.

Caps are fine. As for T shirts .. not sure about the size.I would be embarassed to wear a T shirt with KMC batch 1984 on it. I would rather have it as KMC reunion 2009.

Nice to hear from our long lost friends. Vinod, nice to know you are around somewhere!! It was nice speaking to Banu, Kalyani, Usha and Pravin on my recent trip to the US. Most of them have plans to come for the reunion. I was not able to contact Natty. My suggestion is to have a coffee mug with our logo, which I am willing to sit and design. Any suggestions?

Everybody had their reasons and difficulties.
